第6集:姐姐撕毁生死簿害死妹妹

陶岳明求朱景兰放过朱绮婷未果，气愤地说如果朱绮婷死了，也别妄想自己会和她成亲。陶岳明的态度让朱景兰感到害怕，她怕自己就此失去陶家的富贵生活，便突然改变态度出面认罪，到县衙自首说，那天看到宋贵成要行凶，就用姐姐掉下的簪子杀死了他。陶岳明因朱景兰的行为感动，来到大牢看望，朱景兰向岳明道歉请求原谅并提出要和妹妹见最后一面。陶岳明担心朱绮婷的安全，朱绮婷却不以为然，带了很多姐姐爱吃的菜去看望朱景兰，谁知翌日便传来“朱绮婷”在牢里自尽了的消息。原来景兰在牢中撕毁了生死簿，两人调换过来恢复了原本身份，无辜的绮婷被害冤死。为了不让陶岳明再看出破绽，朱景兰假装痛不欲生。决定放弃自己的本性，模仿朱绮婷的一言一行。她专门做了煎菜饼给陶岳明送去，陶岳明咬了一口便感觉味道不对，他再次对朱景兰的身份起了疑心。陶岳明来到朱绮婷的墓前，碰到了为寻找生死簿归来的陆判，诉说了自己的怀疑，陆判将一切告知岳明，还说陶岳明如能找到生死簿，和朱绮婷成亲后就可以救她。去找朱景兰问清前他交代岳明不能让朱景兰察觉。谁知朱景兰在饭菜里下了黑狗血，陆判吃了以后被其拿出匕首捅了一刀，逃到树林里又碰到了勾魂使者，朱景兰亲眼看到陆判被勾魂使者杀死，彻底放了心。陶岳明侦察到了藏匿生死簿的地方，装作要与景兰成亲送来喜服，借机把她灌醉偷走了生死簿。当晚陶岳明把死去的朱绮婷打扮成新娘模样，与绮婷拜了堂。
