得知父亲被抓，蔡智诚跟汤六瓜理论，汤六瓜要十万大洋才放人，蔡智诚跟他发生冲突，被孟雪制止。蔡智诚来到监狱探望父亲，得知是汤六瓜为了侵吞蔡家的财产，诬陷蔡世超跟日本人做生意，通日叛国。孟雪去找遵义守备司令，想让他出面放了蔡世超，但守备司令说需要钱打点，孟雪责备他，守备司令也怒颜相向。蔡智诚听了父亲的描述更加气愤，又去找汤六瓜，冲突之下打掉了汤六瓜的门牙。汤六瓜跟守备司令合谋，决定快刀斩乱麻，对蔡世超即日枪决。唐璧向孟元超要深河桥一战的报告，孟元超把席少岳的报告给他，他却说这不能代表什么，要每个士兵写一份报告，孟元超与他发生争执。蔡智诚打算第二天去劫法场，孟雪偷着打电话给席少岳，席少岳得知他们还活着，并遇到麻烦。孟元超命令席少岳一定救出孟雪。伞兵们知道蔡智诚活着，打算一起去劫法场，但被席少岳发现拦下，缴枪关了禁闭，罗大烟杆焦急万分。孟雪要陪蔡智诚一起去劫法场，蔡智诚不同意她跟着自己送死，孟雪执意陪同。罗大烟杆决心去救蔡智诚和蔡老爷，跟席少岳发生冲突。实不知席少岳是假借安排一次伞降演习，放走了想去劫法场的伞兵们。战士们毫不畏惧地飞去了遵义城。法场上，汤六瓜发现了蔡智诚，命令他的人抓活的，双方开火激烈。这时，伞兵们从天而降，汤六瓜死于乱枪之中。蔡智诚将父亲救回家中。
