演艺经历
瑞茜·威瑟斯彭7岁时从事模特儿演出，并拍摄了不少电视广告片。1991年15岁时进入影坛，同年演出《风流教师霹雳妹》。1994年，瑞茜·威瑟斯彭进入斯坦福大学读书，尽管抽出时间主演了1994年的《S.F.W.》，她还是把演艺事业放在读书的次要地位。后来辍学开始表演。2001年，她主演了《律政俏佳人》，成为好莱坞一线女星。
