第7集:试炼

开篇讲述的是一个贪嘴的男人趁妻子不注意偷偷吃了一块糖，但很快就发现自己的嘴里出现了一堆刀片，吐血倒地身亡。三天三血祭，召唤Samhain。凯尔特人相信死亡之神Samhain在10月31日的晚上会和鬼魂一起重返人间，寻找替身。因此他们燃点火炬，焚烧动物以作为死亡之神的献礼。还会用动物的头或皮毛做成的服饰打扮自己，发出古怪的声音，使死亡之神认不出自己，避过灾难。这就是今天万圣节化妆舞会的由来。Sam又一次用了超能力流着鼻血用意念驱魔。Samhain重生会打破封印，因此天使打算清洗小镇。Uriel是这集出场的另一位天使，对人类充满不屑，可以像掐死蚂蚁般随便“清洗”掉一个1214人口的镇。Sam和Dean不同意天使清洗小镇，Castiel允许他们试着阻止samhain。最终他们还是没能阻止Samhain复活，sam用超自然力量杀死了Samhain。最后，Castiel告诉Dean，这一切都是上面对Dean的测试，测试结果他们还不知道，但是事实上，天使们得到的命令不是保护小镇，而是听从Dean的命令。
