风雨之夜，陈家的后门被敲响。正哄着孩子睡觉的沈雪清，惊讶地看到大雨中的蓝妮出现在自己面前，蓝妮一脸严峻地通知沈雪清：从铜拔山发回的密电，命令她和沈雪清马上设法潜入洪州市政府内部，成为内线，沈的代号为“满月”，蓝妮的代号是“霜花”，她俩要共同配合代号为“黑风”的高级潜伏特工，伺机行事。以完成蓝光计划的实施。

沈雪清不愿意接受成为潜伏特务的命运。蓝妮冷冷地提醒沈雪清：如果你不愿意，你的孩子就会死。

为了孩子的安全，沈雪清把孩子托付给秦姨。同一晚，蓝妮杀掉了陈家留守的仆人，在屋内浇上汽油纵火焚烧。一夜之间，陈家大宅成为焦土。深夜归家的沈雪清被蓝妮劫持，雪清被告知：他与蓝妮马上要更换身份，要以两个乞丐姑娘的面目出现在解放军面前。

铜拔山，陈恩部队匿藏于茂密山林中，陈太太精神上受了刺激后，思想上时而明白，时而糊涂。沈之冰故意当着陈泽的面向陈恩汇报陈家火灾的惨案，着重说出陈家主仆包括沈雪清母子都没有逃出去。陈泽信以为真，大受打击。
