第2集:包翠花成为赵家主管

赵宏海去世不久，包翠花产生离开赵家的打算，赵夫人一直排挤包翠花，赵宏海去世之后赵夫人愈发仇恨包翠花，赵老爷不愿意包翠花离开赵府，决定把赵家的管理权交给包翠花。

赵彩云在房外听得一清二楚，赶紧回到母亲赵夫人房间将听到的内容说了一遍，赵夫人得知赵老爷想把赵家管理权交给包翠花，气怒交加下床想找包翠花算账，因为身体虚弱赵夫人被子女扶回床上，上床不久赵夫人含着一口怨气离开人世。

赵夫人去世不久，赵老爷将子女唤到身边提醒把管理权交给包翠花，赵彩云不同意父亲的决定，当着父亲的面痛骂包翠花是打渔女身份低微，赵老爷见赵彩云侮辱包翠花的尊严，勃然大怒煽了赵彩云一个耳光。

十年过去，包翠花的女儿赵春云生得可爱机灵深受赵老爷喜爱，赵家家朴孙叔的儿子孙万与赵彩云关系亲，赵春云来到池塘边目睹孙万意图强吻赵彩云，赵彩云虽然对孙万有爱意但不愿意被孙万强吻，赵春云走了过来声称要把看到的情景告诉给父亲，赵彩云吓了一跳赶紧哄走了赵春云。

赵老爷的长子赵宏山不学无术贪污家中许多财产，包翠花在算账的时候找到赵宏山贪污家财的证据，赵老爷勃然大怒将赵宏山唤到身边，赵宏山否认贪污家中财产，赵老爷拿出一叠证据给赵宏山自己看，赵宏山看完证据极力辨解，赵老爷勃然大怒要求赵宏山三日之内必须归还贪污的钱，否则将会被逐出家门。

赵宏山无可奈何只得回到房中夺走妻子心爱的首饰，首饰非常值钱，当铺老板希望赵宏山能给几天时间凑集资金。

包翠花得知赵彩云跟孙万相恋，怒气冲天来到赵彩云的房间搜出孙万送给赵彩云的礼物，孙万是赵家的仆人没有资格跟赵彩云恋爱，包翠花强行软禁赵彩云不给赵彩云跟孙万见面。

为了阻止赵彩云再跟孙万恋爱，包翠花与赵老爷商量替赵彩云物色一个对象，赵老爷不太舍得让女儿赵彩云过早结婚，包翠花提醒赵老爷要知道赵彩云已是二十岁可以嫁人了。赵老爷觉得包翠花的话说得有道理，只得同意包翠花替赵彩云物色对象。

孙叔因为包翠花不给孙万与赵彩云恋爱，暗中来到厨房在补汤中酒下毒药，包翠花浑然不知让女仆端着汤药喂给赵彩云喝，赵彩云喝下补汤险些丢了性命。

赵夫人祭日到来，包翠花陪赵彩云到山上扫墓，赵家的几个亲戚冷言冷语帮助赵彩云挤兑包翠花。包翠花面对赵家亲戚挤兑面不改色冷静应对。
