碧霖替大妹说尽好话，指她并非存心遗失一笔公款，请碧云以董事长身分为大妹平息事件，碧霞在旁则指碧云才不会轻易放过大妹，使碧霖感到失望。碧霖怪责碧云，不再像从前事事为公司设想，碧云反指大妹是被碧霞和丽嫦报警所累，即使日後被控也是拜二人所赐，终把责任推得一乾二净。

旭仔带碧霖和父母为大妹重演当日遗失三千元公款的经过，起初碧霖不愿合作，还指旭仔想法天真，及後被他的坚持打动，到处向路人问及当日的情况。

护妹心切旭仔受伤

旭仔终於找到一名曾经接载大妹的白牌车司机，但遭他拒绝提供线索，更联合其他司机将旭仔痛殴一顿，幸得路过的耀生见到，将众人击退。耀生送旭仔回家，惊闻大妹被碧云指控亏空公款一事，决定找方法还她清白。

碧霞和丽嫦有感大妹向来诚实，并非贪心之人，决定听从碧霞的意见，找出所有可疑的数簿;同时她又到银行向经理要求调查「皓月」的户口，并巧遇耀生和Lucy往找经理……

旭仔陪大妹回「皓月」收拾东西，众员工故意刁难，使祥兴忆起父亲受尽白眼的一幕，於是为她解围。大妹回家後吊颈自杀，幸得碧霖等及时发现，旭仔痛心不已。

祥发暗助大妹解围

旭仔激动回「皓月」向众人澄清大妹乃清白，并道出她企图自杀一事，众人大感错愕;此时，警方到来指有人在「皓月」附近拾到三千元，故前来还大妹的公道。周家众人往吃饭庆祝，碧霖代碧云向众人道歉，耀生则从旭仔的对话中发现端倪，忆起那天到银行找经理调查碧云时，曾遇到祥发，不禁推断寻回三千元和他有关。

祥兴回家怪责祥发私下帮助大妹，却反被祥发再次劝他停止报仇，奈何祥兴眼看朱家众人对碧云的怨气，更坚持要把握时机。

耀生再次出卖碧霞

半醉的祥发向耀生透露祥兴教唆碧云亏空公款的真相;碧霞则向祥兴入手，指他不应再维护碧云，要他将碧云亏空的线索相告。丽嫦联同耀生、旭仔等设局试探碧云;碧霞则设法拖延祥兴，却被他轻易看穿一切，只好一起到保险箱会合耀生等，迫碧云在众人面前打开保险箱……

碧霞揭穿耀生收取碧云利益，才会再次将她出卖，不禁到洪家大闹一番。耀生以碧云的私人助理列席董事会，碧霞和丽嫦要求重选董事局主席，耀生为维护碧云，不惜重提当日碧霞回家、丽嫦接近兆昌的种种不是……
