劳工营的战俘很快就要被运走，营救计划迫在眉睫。黎叔和明台等人在镇上查探敌情，程锦云则扮成护士在日本医疗站里为受伤的战俘治疗并打探情报。她在为一个国民党的少年战俘医治受伤的脚时，趁四下无人，将身份告知了他，争取他的合作。少年满崽虽为国民党一员，但在当战俘的这些时间里，他看到了国民党的不团结与自相残杀。所以，当他知道锦云是共产党时，提出希望能在劳工营解救成功后跟着他们离开。锦云答应了他的要求，将一个任务交给了他。劳工营内的新四军田营长与国民党刘参谋得到了满崽的通风报信，于是一人假装发烧一人陪同护送，一起进了医疗站。明台等人已经等着他们，见到他们之后，互相做了介绍，又商量好了里应外合的营救计划。刘参谋和田营长一起负责联系有战斗力的战俘，在营救当天组成一支战俘队伍配合他们的营救计划。计划已经基本形成，只等着第二天的实施。但意外却在这个时候发生了，营救战俘的计划不知为何泄露了出去，负责监督劳工的作战部队迅速带人来到了医疗站，将所有医生护士都押了出来。田营长不愿指出其中究竟谁是他们的内应，被军官当场枪毙。而第二个被押出来的刘参谋，犹豫不决，看着田营长的尸体，他最终还是将人一一指了出来、根据他的指证，日本军官将人都带出了队伍。被指出的所有人都被一枪毙命，剩余的两三个人则被押回了劳工营。明台原本带着大姐做好的花生酥过来医疗站找锦云，却发现了一排医生护士的尸体。看见倒在地上的田营长，明台手中的餐盒一下子掉落在地上。另一边，明诚接到了梁仲春的电话，得知了这个消息。他既心痛于同志的牺牲，又担忧明台的安危，努力许久才克制住情绪，没有被梁仲春发现端倪。明台已经知道战俘即将被运走，第二天的营救计划是他们最后的机会。所以明楼和明诚都明白，以明台的性格，就算清楚日军会加强戒备，营救难度会增大，他也一定义无反顾。明楼吩咐明诚马上带人前往劳工营所在的镇子，赶在明台实施计划前将他拦下来。如明楼和明诚所料，明台坚持继续营救。黎叔和锦云自然是在所不辞，于曼丽也服从明台的指示，只有郭副官一个人坚持反对，因为对方的兵力比前一天多了一倍，以他们的人力，现在行动只能是自杀。不过，最后他还是选择了与他们共同执行任务。明台安排了岗位给众人，他自己负责狙击，锦云则做他的观察手。解救势在必行，但明台是特工出身，对游击战并不在行，心里难免是有一些紧张。
