杨青雪带着必鹏和信王闯入魔天洞，魔天将必鹏和信王变成冰柱，对杨青雪下手时却被杨青雪身上的反弹过去，魔天重伤。杨青雪设法解救信王等人，却毫无作用。这一切被观音和佛祖东西，佛祖坦言信王是未来的明君，但是杨青雪比信王更加重要，他让观音前去相助道济。广亮怂恿华云龙对百姓和大臣大开杀戒，华云龙心中自有资金的主张。华云龙将冯远官复原职，允许他畅所欲言。冯远用“水能载舟亦能覆舟”的道理劝说华云龙，直言广亮提议的穷兵黩武的办法根本不可行，冯远的话发人深省，华云龙听从了冯远的建议。广亮不服气呛声华云龙，华云龙当众斥责广亮，广亮气急。广亮气冲冲地回到灵隐寺，他任命明原为灵隐寺的方丈，让明原帮助自己找两万个童子炼长生不老的丹药。广亮的意识一直和身体里的青狐对抗，青狐警告广亮听话，否则就会对广亮痛下杀手。广亮一心求死，青狐却不成全他，广亮很是痛苦。
