歌笑用海瑞奖励的赏金盘下了一个酒馆，取名为“醉生梦死”，设有暗室，一枝梅的武器道具一应俱全。一枝梅接下的第一个任务，就是帮助苗家村打击豹子帮。原来，在河套一带的豹子帮横行霸道，无恶不作，他们常年抢劫苗家村的粮食，还得村中人无法生存，最近还关押了很多少女。柴胡小时候也深受豹子帮所害，于是非常想借机报复，和三娘前去豹子帮内部探营。柴胡想直接杀了领头人张豹一了百了，被三娘阻止，柴胡忿然回到酒馆，歌笑却喝着酒，说慢慢想办法。歌笑借帮苗家村送米之名，来到豹子帮与张豹叫板单挑，要拽着绳子跟他对打，约定谁先松开绳子，就算谁输，如果张豹输了，就必须放掉苗家村的少女。另外派了柴胡进去煮粥给少女喝。歌笑差点被张豹打死，但最后关头没松绳子，张豹兑现承诺将少女们放走。三娘把歌笑的酒全换成药逼他喝，但歌笑耍性子，偏要喝酒，三娘不悦，觉得他总是一人行事，完全不把另外三人放在眼里。此时，一枝梅发现被救回的少女都深中阿芙蓉之毒，现在给他们解毒是关键。小梅到处找草药救人，可此时张豹的队伍又派人准备攻打苗家村，他们出尔反尔了……
