第4集:武工队兵分三路同时攻打日军

为了制造八路军主力部队在敌占区活动的假象，武忠义带领战士们进入敌占区后，准备迅速采取行动，一夜之间同时袭击日军的三个重要据点：杜家庄调车场、孟家堰卡哨和八里沟炮楼。卫三湖、小四川和吕修文都担心人手不足，同时进攻这么多地方会有危险。武忠义让吕修文带领三分之二的战士去攻打杜家庄调车场，让卫三湖和鲁大魁带领剩下的战士去攻打八里沟炮楼，而他则独自一人去攻打孟家堰卡哨。前田向小泉提议，趁八路军在新根据地立足未稳，向其发动突袭。小泉熟知八路军有深厚的群众基础，担心到时候会有老百姓向他们通风报信，突袭难以成功。前田为了破坏八路军的群众基础，向小泉提议组建一支伪装成八路军的特别行动队，到各村抢粮杀人，让老百姓对八路军闻风丧胆。前田非常欣赏前田的计谋，让他立刻采取行动，为日军突袭新根据地创造有利条件。武忠义冒充杜家庄保长混入孟家堰卡哨，拿出烧鸡等美味佳肴跟伪军头目套近乎。日军小队长担心他送的东西有毒，让他自己先吃。武忠义故意推辞，日伪军更加怀疑其中有诈。吕修文带领战士们潜入杜家庄调车场，被附近岗楼里的守卫日军发现，双方展开火拼。吕修文趁乱开枪击中了调车场内的储油罐，引发巨大爆炸，所有车辆付之一炬。孟家堰开哨的日伪军听到杜家庄那边传来枪战声，立刻跑出去查看。武忠义趁机吃下烧鸡，假装中毒而死。日军小队长带领士兵加强戒备，没空理会武忠义，就把他丢到一边。武忠义趁日伪军不备，向他们展开偷袭。卫三湖和鲁大魁带领战士们潜入八里沟炮楼，干掉了的那里的所有鬼子后，匆忙赶去孟家堰卡哨增援武忠义。但当他们赶到时才发现，武忠义早已独自一人搞定了那里的日伪军。小泉得知杜家庄调车场、孟家卡哨、八里沟炮楼一夜之间同时遭到八路军偷袭，断定防区内潜入八路军主力部队，不敢再轻举妄动。
