马飞燕把遗体带回来赵家庄，众人一起为赵震天办了简易的丧葬仪式。上香时，晓兰质疑赵震天死了而马飞燕却逃了出来，惹得马飞燕愤怒出走。马飞燕决定先杀掉赵震天的仇人——骆县长。不料碰到巡逻的日军，躲入一家大院。正巧碰到来搬粮食的半斤和八两。在他们的劝说下一起回了柳树沟。刘运果邀请马飞燕加入他的超级大队。最后以愿意帮赵震天报仇留下了马飞燕。赵震天醒来，发现自己被神秘人所救。周卫国处破译了电文，但为时已晚。日军已经向根据地发起进攻。三营一连正在全力阻击日军，无奈兵力差异太大。在危急时刻，齐大胜带人赶回。日军久攻不下，决定启用飞机。赵震天回到了赵家庄，认为日军一定会启用飞机，于是向雷文俊讨教延时雷，硫酸等的使用方法。另一边，苏让其他人帮助齐大胜阻击，自己带着跑得快和结巴去了团部，也接到了团长的任务，在七点前阻止日军的飞机起飞。在路上碰到的他们一起来到日军机场外蹲点。结巴打了喷嚏引起日军注意，他跑了出去。日军将空袭八路军独立团根据地，赵震天等人半夜行动，欲在日军飞机上装延时地雷，摧毁飞机。结巴拖住日军后，赵震天等人进入石城机场，偷了几件日军军装换上，假扮日军。赵震天引开日军后，苏彤等人开始按计划在飞机上安放延时地雷。而这时，水清把结巴捆锁着，折磨结巴，结巴身受重伤。赵震天与苏彤等人汇合后正准备去救结巴，日军却已发现有人偷袭机场。与此同时，马飞燕、刘运果等人正赶往机场，准备炸掉机场。赵震天要跑得快带人去救结巴，但跑得快背着结巴逃走的时候被日军发现，结巴不幸中枪牺牲，跑得快伤心痛哭。而另一边，赵震天炸了日军的油料库，吸引大部分日军兵力救火，趁机带着大家逃出机场。水清派兵追击赵震天等人。日军飞机起飞后并没有爆炸，赵震天等人以为行动失败。而这时日军仍紧追不舍，赵震天等人没有退路，准备拼死一搏，幸好刘运果带人及时赶到，打走了小日军。半斤、八两见赵震天还活着，十分吃惊。周卫国和杨国光也以为苏彤他们行动失败，忧心忡忡。
