白玉兰去见金祖庭，他自称在松鹤楼要办公事，还让她晚上十点在政府办公室见面，阿华在松鹤楼周围没有发现异常情况，薛振东和关竹青按时赴约，金祖庭早在那里等侯并暗中布下伏兵，他准备介绍关竹梅给他们认识，薛振东和关竹青故意在他面前演戏，白玉兰突然来到松鹤楼的包房，关竹青试着向她打探一会儿要来的重要客人。关竹表和薛振东知道金祖庭要请的人是关竹梅后有些吃惊，他们想借机离开时被阻拦，关竹梅从门缝里确认前来赴约的巩夫人果真是“白鸽”关竹青，金祖庭被叫出去，关竹青从镜子里看到关竹梅在外面，金祖庭向关竹梅汇报情况，关竹梅不打算进去，白玉兰听到声音后出去打招呼，还和金祖庭卿卿我我。关竹青和薛振东用枪顶住关竹梅让他们让开路，关竹梅的手下已在松鹤楼埋伏重兵。金祖庭的枪声打乱了安静的夜空，经过一场激战，关竹青被捕，薛振东脱险。薛振东闯入道观后被道长搭救，他按道长的建议马上换上道服，追赶的国军发现薛振东翻墙进入道观，他们将那里团团围住。顾谷斌进入道观后让道长集合所有道士，他答应天亮后会撤离。国军搜查之后没有发现薛振东，顾谷斌坚持要等到天亮，他准备去大殿查看，顾谷斌见到扮成道士的薛振东后将他带走，薛振东对道长的帮忙表示感谢后被国军带走，薛振东突然反抗并趁机用刀控制顾谷斌，他再次脱逃，等顾谷斌带人追赶过去时薛振东已没有踪影。杜副官带人在武装小分队住所里发现一台发报机，房里的人被带走。薛振东在街上趁机抢走一辆摩托车，他骑车来到中兴大药房时发现那里已被查封，他看到阿庆派伙计交给他的纸条。薛振东看到郑玲玲和阿华，三人会合后马上转移。金祖庭将关竹青交给杜老三，关竹梅知道后指责他不要胡来，她想让关竹青改变思想，金祖庭认为那难以办到。胡传奎不明白关竹梅为何要抓自己的亲妹妹，顾谷斌建议胡传奎趁机放了关竹青，胡传奎答应拍马屁。顾谷斌找关竹梅汇报关竹青的事情，他答应替她作证，还说起胡传奎已去释放关竹青，只是有关AM计划，这让关竹梅很难办。金祖庭向毛人凤汇报关竹青已被抓获，毛人凤打电话给关竹梅让她秉公办事。胡传奎给关竹梅打电话说已经放了关竹青，但又及时追回，关竹青又回到监狱中。杜老三将关竹青绑起来询问，他十分得意，杜老三想动手时关竹梅来到监狱，关竹梅打了杜老三一巴掌之后将关竹青带走，杜副官还不知道什么情况。
